Camel/kanguro front fork preload sleeve

Postby elektrobank » 14 Apr 2020 13:44

Hi All!
My 501 camel front fork has missed the spring preload sleeve/spacer inside the fork, just under the plug on the top, no the bike is lower on the front a little bit, please someone know how long these pieces are?
Thanks in advance

Hi Gianluca, which 501 Camel do you have?
Early small tank with 6V/12V electrics or the later model which has a large tank with 12V electrics/electric start; as their forks are different.

The early small tank 501's pre-load sleeve is 70mm long with an outer diameter of 32mm and it is 1.25mm thick.

Sorry I don't have any measurements for the later forks.

Hope this helps, take care yet have fun, Ian
