Nearly got the Kanguro on the road only to find the rear tyre is prehistoric.
It is an Avon 18x460 Gripster and has very little clearance to the chainguard.
The front is a more recent Bridgestone trail wing which does have a 460 x18 rear equivalent.
Is the rear size correct?
Is this the way to go or are there more suitable tyres out there? The bike will spend the vast majority of its life on the road .
Thanks for your help

Re: Kanguro x3 tyres
Look on the Avon site. They do a new 90% road tyre for trail bikes. The selector has Morinis.
Re: Kanguro x3 tyres
The Kanguro Owner's Manual I have gives the tyre sizes as: Front 3 x 21. Rear 4 x 18.
You would need to check the modern equivalent, though the front translates to around 80 and the rear to 100, so 480 sounds very big to me!
