kanguro x3 monoshock

Post by Dave dix »

Hi, new member and new to morini,s but i can see the charm they posess and a nice change from my XT600 for a bit of off roading (thou rather heavy top end with a full 22 litres of petrol)
Would anyone know where i can get a new or secondhand monoshock for my X3? The original one has lost its gas but a hagon replacement is rather expensive so i was hoping to pick up a good secondhand one.
Also are speedo,s available in MPH?
I live in Chelmsford Essex
cheers

Motorcycle monoshocks are one of the biggest conns around. They're fundamentally no different from a car unit, but are often more than three times the price.

Try a Gazmatic from http://www.dampertech.co.uk/home.html or look on ebay (Italy) for a Bitubo which is more sensibly priced.

You could also have the original repaired, Falcon offer a repair service;

Thanks for the links Paul, its booked for a MOT on saturday so i'm nicking one off a ts250x just for the test but its 35mm shorter so it will have to do for a day or so, hagons prices are riduculous @ around £255 so it will be an ebay jobbie or get the original repaired

Forget the TS shock, it looked like a low-rider!
