I've a '86 501 Camel which starts first kick and will tick over and will rev out when it's stationary fine,when ridden though it appears to be suffering from fuel starvation as when you try and ride and rev out it eventually splutters and dies,any choke kills it,plugs seem wet as if running too rich,
Air filter-ridiculously flimsy design-all seems fine ,have cleaned the carbs and fiddled with air-mixture screws which made no difference!Can't be anything too bad but would like anybody with experience to offer advise please.
Bike has been stored since I got it couple years ago...it was running ok but bit rich when I bought it...13,000 miles...
