Please can anyone confirm if the 350 rotors are the same as the 500 rotors ?

The rotors of the pickups are the same. The flywheels of the alternator are diferent (ignicion marks /ANT and weight)

Thanks , it’s the flywheel, I have a 350 one but was going to exchange it with my 500 as the starter shoe area is in better condition

Yes you can. The generator output won't be as high as the 500 160w to 90w unless it is off a K2 140w. Regarding the ignition timing, then simply mark the 500 firing point on the flywheel. If you know the degrees you want, then it will be easier to use radians from the TDC mark, just pinch the missus' tape measure from her sewing basket as it follows the curvature more closely rather than trying to use a protractor.
