Replacement Rear Shocks

Post by JonnyP »

Hi all, has anyone replaced their rear shocks recently? I've spoken to Ikon UK, and they only list shocks for the 350, not the 500. They were unable to confirm whether or not the shocks are the same between the two models. I have seen a string on this forum about Ikon in Australia researching the possibility of producing a shock for the 500 (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4741&p=24547&hilit= ... ock#p24547), but since Ikon do not list a 500 shock, I'm wondering whether this research reached a dead end? Apart from Ikon, can anyone recommend a good quality replacement rear shock for the 500, perhaps Hagon?

if you look under other brands you will find shocks for similar bikes with the correct length
these Guzzi pairs are 324mm (Hagon for 500 are 320mm); eyelets are probably 14mm but maybe that is the only thing you can have changed when ordering
