Has anyone ever fitted this '350 style' round-tail single seat (photo attached) to a 500? Obviously, you would need to remove the 500 tail piece. Mdina are advertising this type of seat with 'pin fitting' here:

you would to modify the seat base so it will attach to the hinge system on a 500 frame

I have one fitted to my bike. You will have to make up attachment brackets for the rear lugs to sit in and sit on the screw knobs. The dowel rods/pins locate into another bracket. The brackets were then zinc plated.
