Exhaust spanner

Post by 3potjohn »

So .... my exhaust nut tool for my 350 does not fit the larger nut on a 500.
Any bright idea where one may acquire such a fine thing for which I am prepared to do almost anything. They are currently pristine so would not want to bodge it.
Cheers John

I may have one, if you cross my palm with silver, or a pint of hand pulled ale served in a real pub.

I'll look later.

Silver I can do in a trice. If we ever get to Dent ( a very sensible place) I will buy you a pint of T‘Owd Tup.

Taken on Thirstday just around the corner from Dent.

I recognise that viaduct, I also remember descending from Barbon to Dent on a Jawa Combo with the grease melting from the front hubs. Worth it for a pint or two in the Sun.

Oh - I also have a spare 500 exhaust spanner, unfortunately a lot further away. Nice bike, Mickey.

Nice area. What didn't help was North Yorkshire County Council gritting the roads. The tarmac was perfect and not melting. Catch up a wagon and there was a cloud of the stuff. The corners were littered with the stuff. I was spitting it out for hours after my ride. I saw more bikes than cars.

Just for Ming, the highest point in North Yorkshire.
