Primary chain 3/8 x 9/32

Post by solviken »

Having difficulty finding this chain size. Used on early Morini 125/175 and other Italian lightweights but now seemingly rare.
Any leads appreciated.

This guy has a good reputation for chains for older bikes. https://the-chain-man.co.uk/

Thanks. ’Chainman’ couldn’t help but Jane at Sprockets Unlimited was very helpful. Seems there’s something of an anomaly here as the 9/32 chain listed in the Regina Extra 1950s catalogue when fitted to the bike was actually 5/16. On measuring my chain it is 5/16 which I assumed was wrong as it is a tad wide but looks to be original.
Unfortunately Jane doesn’t have a 5/16 and is winding down and not ordering new stock after her partner past away.
So now looking for a 3/8 x 5/16 chain which is hopefully easier to find?
