Camel clock rubber wanted

Post by Kamel »

Hi all, I wonder if somebody might have a rubber ring which fits between the Speedo bezel and the plastic housing on a Camel Mk2 ? Or can tell me the part number for it. It’s about 16mm high and has a groove around the bottom which locates in the housing.

Cheers,

Kamel.

Hi, I don't have a spare one, but if I am not mistaking the ones from Excaliburdashboards are the same, so most likely also later 350's and the 500 Sei.

Thanks hombre. Is there any way to find the part number?

You can find them in here somewhere: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... E1GeGtFZVE

But I now recall that they are different. I once fitted an Excaliburdash to a Mk2-Camel. I am very good at confusing myself ;)
I might have the original Camel one somewhere, I'll let you know.

Hi hombre,
Thanks for that. I looked at my brother's 501 Camel, and they are the same, so we were able to find the part number 30.01.63. Mdina told us to add an M on the front and remove the dots then search their site for M300163 in this case. (maybe that was the same with NLM). Low and behold they have some second hand ones for £3.30 each, so no problem if you can't find them.

Hi hombre, unfortunately the rubber which mdina sent was incorrect, it was the one for the Mk1 camel (with the corners on it). So if you do come across one of the plain round ones please let me know.

Cheers,

Kamel.
