Shop full of Spares. Stock from closed dealer in Barcelona

Post by ianlucas006 »

I have bought and am slowly shipping back to the UK a large quantity of spares for various bikes. It is a mixture of NOS and used bits.
Consumables that are available include Air filters for the 125/250 models and the cylindrical type that fit most of the later bikes ( Kanguro, Dart Excalibur, New York, Coguaro etc) £4 each (all prices plus post).
Exhaust gaskets for both 350 and 500 £1 each or 10 for £8
Clutch cable and Tacho cable for Kangu £10 each
Throttle cables for some models £5 each
Petrol tank caps for Kangu etc with breather spigot £12.50 each
Aftermarket coloured fork Gaiters for Kangu / Camel £12.50 a pair
Brake shoes various. £10 a set
I haven't really started on the other stuff but there are lots of tanks (Will try to attach a couple of pictures) mainly used but 3 new Mehari tanks for the
Kangu. They are fibreglass so will require lining.
Various NOS brake pedals for Kangu / Camel
Lots of side panels, some new.
Loads of used engine parts from all periods. 350 (early and late) 500 some 501
250 /125 forks and yokes (2 sets)

Give me a shout if you are looking for anything in particular. I am away over Christmas and not shipping anything before then but send lists and I can sort on return.
Thanks Ian

Ian;

If the list includes shoes suitable for the rear brake for the early Strada I'd have a set!

Good riding - and a happy 2024!

Hi, I too would take a set of rear brake shoes if you have them, for a 1977 wire wheel Strada. Cheers

Mike thanks for link to brake shoe topic. I had seen earlier posts but not the later ones. I think the pads I have are Newfren but will be older ones. When back will check if they also have the problems as described. If they don't then it suggests Newfren are getting them somewhere else these days.

Hello Mike
Based in Devon so other side of the country to you. 77 Sport is wires and disc?. Did they go back to a 160mm rear drum then? The earlier ones were a 180 which are much harder to find
In France till early Jan so will get back in touch then.
Thanks Ian

Yep - it'll be the 180s that I need as its a Series 1 Strada as featured in the MRC 2024 Calendar!

Hope that you all had a good Christmas - the Corsaro Section had a Boxing Day meet at the Hampshire Bowman - mild and damp but still great fun at a traditional British / English pub...

Good riding in 2024!

Hi Chris
If an A/2 (Series 1 Strada) it should have 160 at the rear. It was the early Sport that had the bigger rear drum.
Thanks for the reminder about the calendar, I haven't ordered one yet!

Now back in UK.
Yes I think I have a red pick up somewhere.
I have checked the Newfren shoes and yes they do have some flash but nothing that would stop them working. They have sold a lot of shoes over the years so must have some idea what they are doing. I have 3 sets in box's and if I can count they have all been spoken for. While we are on the subject of brakes I have a couple of 180mm rear brake plates complete that fit to the early Sports if anyone is looking. Pics tomorrow

Hi Ian,
Could you put me down for a set of rear brake shoes for a early 75 drum sport.
Cheers,
Ross
Edit, sorry I see they are plates not shoes.
