Sito silencers for 31/2 give away

Post by MickeyMoto »

hello,

I have a pair if Sito silencers available for postage or collection.

They are far from perfect, having been taken from my project bike. One has a loose baffle internally. Both appear solid in the outlet. They only have a single bracket, but do fit. Not pretty, as a bit worn but might do somebody a turn. If not, I'll take them to the tip to be recycled.

Mike,
If no one else wants them I'll take them, thank you. I'm fine with repairing them and also have a project bike (even beyond my Kanguro X). I'll be popping up to Whitby at some point and you're not that far off the route, if I remember correctly.

No worries, Julian.

...or should we call you Steptoe and Daughter? :)

You must have more Morini spares than Mdina.

perhaps :)

At some point I'll rationalise them. I'm planning to tidy up a 400 engined cast wheel 3 1/2 sport which turned out to need more care and attention than I'd thought when I bought it a few years ago. Then I've a K1 frame from one of the George's here on the forum which might finally be the impetus for me to work out how to fit the Excalibur starter motor to my 501 K1 bike (again you kindly gave me that starter and the engine casing, etc.).

I'm expecting to have at least one Morini on the road for a few decades to come and these sorts of spares may well be useful in 5 10, 15+ years time.

Anyway, thank you for helping top up the spares collection.

Oh and BTW my collection is absolutely miniscule compared to at least one other club member who lives within an hour's drive of me. He has tens of engines, etc. and probably twice the number of Morinis compared to me.
