Tricky is selling his 2006 Corsaro 1200

Post by Tricky »

Tricky's Yellow Corsaro 1200 is up for grabs.

What is on offer/What are you getting?

Yellow Corsaro 1200 (one of maybe 3 or 4 with this colour in the UK)
7515 miles, 2006, MOT due 25.02.2015, Tax soon after, Full Document History, 2 Owners including me,
Fully maintained, 2 keys, Datatool alarm with 2 alarm key fobs.

Spare Oil Filter with a Oil

Improvements
Michelin Pilot 3 tyres front and rear (covered 1300 miles only)
Termignoni Exhausts, Original down pipe has been De-Catted professionally.
Full ECU remap and tune by BSD Performance Motor cycles Peterborough. With Servicing.
Nitron road and Track fully adjustable 10mm lower rear shock fitted by BSD, full geometry check and adjust. The bike sits 10mm lower at the front and rear.
Fully adjustable levers fitted.
New sports handle bar grips.
Oberon Performance Clutch Slave cylinder.
Lithium Ion Battery (weighs as much as a tea bag), DIY charging lead made by me, accessible through side panel no need to remove seat.
Original parts included. Including the factory ECU map which is on a memory stick.

Everything you want to know about this bike is on the forum. What was done and why including rolling road print out etc.
see “Tuning my 06 Corsaro"
I would add its an excellent piece of Italian reliable engineering.

Reason for sale
Under used, I am depriving some one else of Morini grin factor too.

What do I want for it?

A sensible price and a good home for it to go to. (I am not looking to recover monies for my improvements, just a fare price for an excellent Moto Morini, I would prefer it to go to a club member)

Thanks for taking time to read my add, PM me if you are interested. I have now stored the bike for winter. It will be re-MOTed sometime in March

Hi Tricky

Did you get another bike to use instead of the Corsaro?

I was wondering how it was going as we hadn't from you for a while.

Cheers

Hi Chips thanks for the message.
My health issues over whelmed me for a while, that being said I am very much on the mend and will make a full life changing recovery (very soon), only then returning to one of my life long passions "motor biking".
When I do return it will be on something less powerful and smaller, with a kick start, this will fall in line with my current Yoga,Tai Chi and Herbal tea life style.(don't laugh) I love the forum, members and the club, fantastic community of real Morini/Biking enthusiasts.
Cheers

Well done Tricky. Keep up the good work. I myself am off the alcohol and down the gym 3 times a week.
At least I don't think? I'm boring now.

MickyMoto, Yes your on the button there.
Chips, Thankyou, No not boring at all.
I wonder if on a future track day whether the Marshals will let me ride round the track in my sandals though!

Just like to say I have replied to a couple of message on here, these messages are stuck in my outbox and appear to not be sent. I wonder if they are only sent once the other user has read them?
It is still for sale, post here if you do not hear from me please thanks.
