Tail Tidy?

Has anyone made, bought or seen a "tail tidy" for any of the 1200 Morinis, to make the back of the bike look a bit more normal than the swingarm mounted number plate and indicators ?

Yeah, I'd be interested in one as well - for the latest generation of Morini (i.e. - the ones with the swing-arm mounted light / number plate fittings).

I am guessing / hoping that it might be possible to retro fit the mountings from the original Corsaro series...

Good riding,

MotoHub does one in carbon.

I have made my own as a proof of concept. The frame has screw holes at the rear for the pannier frames. A secure fixing point.

Two pieces of fence strap, drilled 10mm, bent and sawn. Attach to frame at rear. I bought a tail tidy for a tenner. Unfortunately, too narrow so two bits of metal bolted to the fence straps to get the width. Fitted the number plate light and the reflector from the existing unit. Pulled wiring from swinging arm and routed under mudguard. A bit Forth rail bridge but 45 miles later still attached. Angle of dangle of number plate can be changed. Probably will throw crap up my back. Need to file out bolt holes on numbernplate bracket...

Will replace brackets (£2.50 for a selection) with a piece of 5 or 6mm aluminium plate and replace bolts with countersunk heads.
