Hi all,
Probably a dumb question from a Morini newbie: I've [so far painlessly] rescued a 3 1/2 from the damp coal cellar where it had been been hibernating for the past 30 years. I've just noticed a slight oil leak from behind the gearbox sprocket. Does anyone know offhand if I can just whip the sprocket off and press in a new seal without further disassembly?

For an easy life you can write “out” on the outer face of the sprocket. The oil seals generally go in to give a 2mm clearance around the casing. I also have an “up” arrow on the inside face of the oil filter cover.
