With no marks on the crank pinion how do you check cam timing ? The crank flywheel Woodruff key lines up with the punch mark on the crankcase, is that about right?

That´s how it must be, with the punch mark of the upper cambelt pinion at 12 o clock you´ve got the crossing pms (not ignicion pms) to change the cambelt. With the mark of the upper cambelt at 6 o clock you´ve got the ignicion pms (taking off the cambelt at this point it will turn the cam and you´ll loose the times)

Thanks guys, the timing on mine was quite simple really, line up flywheel marks at TDC cylinder 1, dot on cam pulley on TDC, there is no dot on the crank pulley.
