New wire harness

Post by Mepstein »

Has anyone purchased a new wire harness from this seller, or any other vendor?
The price seems very reasonable. I'm just looking for feedback. Thanks

I have held off these knowing that there are so many idiosyncracies between different model 350s. I just don't get a good feeling that an after-market constructor could represent each variation with confidence but I would love to be proven wrong.

I used one, some of the wires I didn't use, one or two I had to make up, but I had no complaints, as an electrical dyslexic it helped me a great deal, and everything worked and has kept on working.

I make my own harnesses as needed, but if I were to use one of those, I'd replace the Brass spade connectors with Tin plated versions.

My friend Gregory Bender reproduces Moto Guzzi wiring harnesses - excellent quality and service. He would have no problem reproducing a Morini harness, all that he'd need would be an original to copy.

Last time I tried to buy something Guzzi from Greg, I got to the online checkout and he slapped on a random surcharge for dealing with the UK. Guess he's never forgiven us for the Boston Tea Party

Are you sure it was Gregory Bender? He has no "online checkout" - he sends an invoice via email with instructions to pay via Paypal or other means. Numerous guys in the UK have bought his harnesses and have never mentioned anything of the sort.

I thought it was. Maybe it was slapped on the Invoice in which case, rather than an online check-out
