Ignition timing / HT leads

Post by hphilbo »

Hello, just after a recommendation for a source for replacement HT leads. Also for a good strobe ignition timing gun. Bike is a 1976 350 sport. Thanks.

I use a Gunson strobe with an inductive pickup that clamps to a HT lead and requires a power source e.g. your battery. The pickup is fragile so care needed not to let it drop.
Only gets used on my bikes rarely unless disturbing the ignition side. Might see one on ebay I guess.

Thanks for the info. Got HT leads from Mdina. I’ll look out for a Gunson strobe next.

I was so motivated by this post I went onto Fleabay and scored a Gunson strobe for £2.99. Just got to remember how to use it now!

Bloke I got it from had 2 x Chevy Corvairs on the drive - not something you see every day!
