hi all.
years ago i had a 3 1/2 sport, i think it was a A3. now i have a honda cx 500, it a great bike like it for touring but it does,nt handle any thing like a morini. i am now look for a old morini that tours as well as the honda.
has any one owned a 350 and 500 morini, which is best ?.

If it is for touring, I would advise for the 500: it is a bit longer and more stable, and the seat is longer, which might be of interest if you carry a passenger. There's also a bit more room for baggages.
The 500 engine has more mid-range torque, but it is not quicker than a good 3 1/2 Sports. It just does it 1500 RPM lower, and supports more easily heavier loads without needing to change gear all the time.
All in all, it is less exciting, not such a flickeable bicycle as the 3 1/2, but easier and more confortable.
