High Country ride

Post by johnwh »

It’s been awhile since I have had the time to do a solo ride up into the Victoria high country. What a great 3 days on my 1200. A new set of tyres and some work on the front end gave the bike a great feel and with unending corners through the mountains up around Mita Mita it was the best fun on a bike I have had in ages.
The point is that as we get older it is easy to put things off and while I am moving towards 70 it served to remind me to get out there and keep doing it. It puts years back into your life.

I think a motorcycle ride in the hills should be available on prescription... :)

We all must feel that the 2019 pre-Covid world was such a long time ago.

Good to see another Aussie Corsaro rider and another High Country fan!

Just as we leave Covid we have to worry about the climate change shindig in Glasgow and what they decide about our hobby... :(
