Rear Wheel Bearing sizes

Post by corsaro chris »

It'll be a standard bearing - but what size / reference?

A back up query, just in case I can't get any from my 'normal supplier'...

It's loose at 24,000 miles; I'm told it's because I clean the bike (so that cannot be true, surely?)

Cheers

The only proper way is to remove the wheel and look on the bearing. Or the parts book. The bearing should be sealed, unless you use a pressure washer they should last.

Do you torque up the rear wheel? The ft in the torque figure means @#$%^&* tight.
