UK / EU withdrawal agreement repercussions

Post by Ming »

I've just been assisting an old friend who has changed his UK licence for a French one. It turns out that the famous Withdrawal Agreement, supposedly delivering for the UK, forgot to look at the small print, one of the results being that certain licence categories are now not transferable.
So my biking buddy can no longer ride legally the Norton Commando he has owned for the last 40 years. He is absolutely gutted.

So, any EU residents still using a UK licence - be aware.

Looks like you get an A2 licence which you upgrade so you can ride a bike restricted to 100cv :)

Knew a guy who emigrated and had to detune his bike.
