Battery and the EPP regulations

Post by mbmm350s »

If you are buying a lead acid battery for the Morini then be aware the UK EPP (explosives precursors and poisons regulations) have been updated so that you can no longer buy sulphuric acid , which means no more open vented lead acid batteries that come with the acid in a separate container that you used to be able to fill the battery yourself, so you cant buy on line The acid has to be filled by a EPP license holder, who you guessed it, overfilled mine right up to the top, fortunately I found a pipette. As we all know having a license does not imply any level of competency. Perhaps I should have used a different kind of battery....
