Not sure if viticulture would get this far, although the product is very popular. The Champagne houses are buying up the Downs in the South East as the terroir is similar to the Champagne region. We could serve it on tap in the pub...

E10 = >5-10% otherwise it would be sold as E5

In my local Shell garage today filling my car(diesel)and was looking at the petrol available.The shell super is classed as E5 and although a bit more pricey is the one I`m going to be using from now on.(On my Morini of course!
)

Well, 1,000 miles of E10 and the fuel economy has gone down by 10%. When using E5 it improves to where it was. 97/98/99 improves it further. E5 95 still available in places. However, another spanner, Shell E10 is better than Morrisons E10.
The difference in price between 95 and Super is less than 10% so Super for me. The Milano also runs crap at low revs on E10, but probably a fuelling issue.

When I bought my 125H the previous owner had used Aspen fuel its only around 90 octane but very pure not wanting any pre - ignition problems I drained it and currently use Esso 99+ and where I live it does not contain ethanol. Aspen fuel is around £20/25 per 5 litres depending on where its sold so quite an expensive option, if you want to buy your fuel in 'cans'.
