Jim Redman's ex-works GP winning 250-4 is coming up for auction at the Stafford Bike show this weekend. It is believed to be the only original example of it's kind in existence.

The relevance to Morini is that Jim Redman won the World 250cc championship in 1963 ( I don't know if this was the bike he did it on) and was chased all the way to the title by Provini on the Morini 250GP.
Provini won several rounds but was narrowly beaten to the championship.

The estimate for this bike is a staggering £375,000

I saw one of the 250GP bikes in Cesare Luzzi's shop in Sienna a few years ago, precariously balanced on a plank supported by two wooden boxes.

Steve

Is this the same Honda that Bob Heath crashed at Goodwood earlier this year?, if so they have repaired it quickly.
