1st May, midday Manor Cafe, Bellerby near Leyburn.

Hopefully, the masses are ready for a trip to the centre of the universe. I've been to night school to get the accent right and I am now ready.

Midday, Manor Cafe, Bellerby near Leyburn. A ride out at 1pm of about 50 miles with a stop. Petrol available half way, if required for Milano owners! (Now, that is another story).

If you do not have a Morini running, no worries, turn up on whatever, even a Gold Thing or a Hardly... or a Du, Duc, Duca, you know, those inferior V twins from across town, if you must

Mike.

Mike,
How did the day and the ride go? Sadly I wasn't able to join you because of some changes in my schedule that meant I needed to drive by car to Whitby yesterday instead of coming on a Morini.

Well, that was OK.

Good to see the Devon massive, too!

Four Morinis spanning 250, 350 and 500 and an Olden days X-Cape (Kanguro).

Also spotted was a very nice Laverda Jota, a car and a camper van.

After a scare with a dodgy oil pressure switch it was decided that the engine would have seized by now so the sensible option was taken and the wire removed from the switch. The bike is still running and sounding good 100 miles later.

A short ride along Swaledale in the good weather. Tea and cakes and the bonus of biscuits, too, were partaken.

Shall we do it again some time? Maybe somewhere different. I'll have a think.
