Today was the annual Offham rally, a spontaneous event that happens every 3rd Sunday in October, everything imaginable decends on a small village in Kent, traction engines, scooters, american cars, bikes of every description, old lorries, race cars, three wheelers, a six wheel Citroen towing a plane with it's wings cut off converted into a camper, we even had a Spitfire fly past, the event is completely unorganized, people just turn up with whatever they have in their sheds/barns/garages, it's fantastic. This year was a record for me, I found two other Morinis, a 3 1/2 Strada and 500 sei neither owner was in this club, I suggested that they should be. I also had a chat seperately with ex racers Colin Seeley and Paul Smart, do yourselves a favour and get there next year, it's wonderful.
