Corsaro section - February meet up

Post by floydsveloce »

Hello all

Just to let everyone know in advance that the February meet will be on the second Saturday instead of the first due to it coinciding with the Shepton Mallet bike show.

So see you all on Saturday February 10th , at the usual ' pub with no name '.

All the best and safe riding

Good to see you and the guys on Saturday Floyd - even with the icicle on the dash! Heated grips are good!!! Let's hope that we won't need them next month...

See you February, and good riding,

So, what’s the plan on the 10th?

I could probably sneak by on my way across to Bath that weekend. In the car most probably, but would be good to meet up all the same

Hello Morini Tom

It's the corsaro section monthly meet and you are more than welcome mr Tom ! We are a bit quieter this time of the year , so the more the merrier. :D
It's normally the first Saturday of the month , but 3 of our crew were at Shelton Mallet this weekend, so moved to the 10th.
Look forward to seeing you !

It'll be good to see you Mr. Tom! Will you be bearing umbrellas? (Not that I'll have any way of carrying them unless I bring the GP and a couple of long bungie cords...)

The pub is on the road south out of Alton towards Fareham and Loomies Cafe; you turn 2nd left after East Tisted for somewhere in the middle of nowhere and then left again at the top of the hill. They have, of course, taken the pub sign down...

Sounds good, what time (or is that the second cryptic part to work out??) :)

Chris, I can certainly try to remember the umbrellas this time! I could probably come via your place to deliver them and check/collect this new dart tank- if that’s convenient with you?

What time are you planning on setting off?

Meeting is usually from 12:something until around 2:00 ish (depends on the weather, although we sit inside when it's cold).

It's about an hour from ours, so get to us for 11 and have a coffee? Let me know what suits,

Sounds like an excellent plan, ok I shall see you at yours around 11 then.

I’ll set a reminder in my calendar about the umbrellas now!!

Hello Morini Tom

Looks like Chris has beaten me to it with the coordinates !!
If you lose each other on the way , put in GU32 1DA in to your sat nav, if you have one. It will be obvious, as the pole and frame are still in situ but the actual sign went gone long ago
You will also see a brown sign saying ' white horse'. Hope that helps !
