Dont' worry for Le Havre. After Paris, there is a list of 25 cities that have been nominated as candidates for implementation within 5 years. Those include the greater Paris area, Lyon, Lille, Montpellier, Bordeaux, Grenoble, Rouen... but not Le Havre. Le Havre is part of a shorter list of cities that must specify more accurately their project. No risk it will be implemented in 2017.

Bad luck for me: because of health problems I won't be able to do it. But those of you who have already experimented the hospitality of the French club know they will be highly welcome!

Hello to you all, British Friends,

Just a short message to remind you as Doug already said that our entry form is on line on our website.
Just click on the first page main picture (the event's poster) and you will find the menu.
Choose your language and you will get the entry form.
For some dark reasons the board had decided not to display the club's IBAN code (probably because of the fear to receive unknown donations...), then you need to send a e-mail to get it, apologize.
There are no limits to the entrants number, but we have set a registration limit date as we need to know some time in advance the number of people, mainly for catering reasons.
In the same manner you will have to choose which of the two trips offered on Sunday, you will attend.
As our friend Bruno had already said, no fear with the green laws, they don't apply in these places, and we are confident in a lovely spring weather.

We manage strongly to have a great man from Morini history with us but it is too early to confirm it now.
In addition, our Italian friend Edgardo Donatii, from Ravenne will be with us.
He is Mister Corsarino (every model is in his private collection) but also a great specialist of the Corsaro (the push-rod single cylinder).
And a fine dinner companion, believe me, whatever only Italian speaking.

A small batch of French members (among them is myself) will attend Reggio Emilia Mostra Scambio, two weeks before.
Then if properly prepared in advance we could probably collect some goods and deliver them in Tancarville.
Let me know (f-bernard21@orange.fr).

Hoping to see plenty of you, among the Belgian, German, Dutch, Swiss and Italian already scheduled.

François BERNARD

Right, bookings all done! I'm riding over with Mickeymoto (he's my lucky mascot, guaranteed to ward off any engine breakdowns...) on the 10.20 tunnel crossing on Thursday 13 April and we're staying with some others at the Hotel Relais D'Etretat in Bolbec from the Thursday night, returning on the Monday morning to catch the 2.50pm tunnel crossing back to Ashford. Some people will be camping on site over the weekend. I've ordered lunch and dinner at the rally from Friday evening to Sunday evening, and opted for the longer tour on Sunday to the WWII fortifications. Philippe Morini from the Moto Morini Passion club tells me that he received 10 English registrations this morning, so it should be quite a party.

If anyone else is planning to come, the registration form is on the Moto Morini Passion website under Rassemblement 2017, and I've got the IBAN/BIC codes which you'll need to pay for your meals.

Mark.

Hello, British friends,

I spent three days on your ground for Telford Classic Dirt Bikes Show, where I was holding a stand.
Obviously my beloved Corsaro regolariita was there, whateve the target was not to launch the big Morini event in Tancarville but my own organisation (off-road trip in Burgundian vineyards next July, see http://www.burgundy-classic.com ).
I met plenty of people, some ones knowing regolaritas but none from the Club, I guess.

You will find below the to-day entry list for Tancarville , the UK contingent is serious indeed !

Hope to see you there,

François

With the benefit of hindsight, I clearly would have been better joining you in Tancarville for your hill climb than going to Loton Park. Glad to hear it went well.

Some Morinis huddling, yesterday...

Well, huddling obviously worked, because the rain cleared, the sun came out and we all had a jolly god ride home (with some of us indulging in a well-earned pizza and beer before leaving France).

The crossing was busy - well, mobbed out is probably a better term to use. However, it didn't spoil what was a great w/e, thanks to all those who organised it!

Good riding,

CC

A splendid rally in all respects. And what will power to avoid all that lovely beer and wine because we were riding in and out.I made my way back in total darkness for most of the journey save for my headlight, with one eye on the hedgerow lest something lively appeared.Via Pegasus bridge to Oistreham and on the ferry by 07:20 which was better than I had anticipated.Around the M27 was not so pleasant but traffic was tolerable on my side of the road.
Bike did not miss a beat-no oil used at all.Didn't even need to adjust my chain.
Now back to work.....
