Cadwell 2014 - the wheelie green laner

Post by miciouk »

Dear MRC,

I just want to say a big thank you to make my first track day experience a special one. it was the best thing I've done on 2 wheels by a million miles. It was also good to meet you in the flesh. You are a great bunch and very genuine people.

Also a massive thanks to the North Leicester Motorcycle team for babysitting the newbie (me) and for being such great company throughout the day.

Despite my few grass excursions (I blame the Scrambler) the adrenaline is still pumping and I can't wait for next year.

If any of you official and unofficial photographers has any pics of my Scrambler 1200 (in or off the track) feel free to PM me. Or send me a link to where they can be seen. I have some good camera videos which need editing because the noise is unbearable (somehow the green-laning bits will magically disappear too).

I'll post a new topic with the link.

Once again, thank you thank you and thank you!!

A TUTTO GAS!!

Francesco;

Do you want sensible photos or ones with the front wheel well off the ground? :wink:

There will probably be one of the latter in the next ATG... :D

It was good to meet you, and all the other riders on the day, see you soon and good riding,

I heard a good Italian phrase on the telly last night: bella in sella. (Looking good in the saddle). Not wanting to enlarge your vanity of course Francesco!

Mark! Bella would be appropriate if my name was FrancescA!!! Don't mean to be picky and I do like your effort, but I wonder if there was a way to teach you guys some Italian so next time you are riding around Italy you can show off big time. Not assuming none of you do already btw, I am sure there are some almost natives amongst this bunch.... Show me your skills!!

Francesco;

I've sent you a pm

Hope that you got to the Bedford meeting and catch up with you soon. Learning Italian (or some, anyway) would probably be good if I'm planning on visiting the Factory (next year or in 2016?) or even just getting back to Turin. So many things to do...

Good riding, and it's back to fitting the wheel back in the Strada having had a new tyre fitted...

Bello in sella not got the same ring to it!

I can't speak English proper like so no chance with Italian.

Ciao!

what an honor to be on the cover of "ATG" you surely know how to flatter new members. I am not even going to try to be modest here either, it looks awesome and I was able to show off with the g/f..... back to real world now :(

Good riding - and we'll have to catch up for a coffee soon! :wink:
