Anyone interested in going to MMItalia 2013 rally?

Post by seaninsligo »

Dear All

The above as described in the latest edition of A Tutto Gas is effectively a 4 day trip when you take account of flight times in association with a factory visit.

Flights London to Milan (incl baggage = £ 100)
Car Hire - 4 days £ 100
Fuel 750kilometers <> £ 75
Hotels - rooms from £ 30 pn (NOT PER PERSON)
Food - say £ 20 pp,pd
Misc - say £ 12 pp,pd

Using the above indicative figures, if 4 members travel in one car, share one hotel room (family room) and split all costs equally, the cost per person is in the range £ 300 to £ 350.

Using the above indicative figures, if 2members travel in one car, share one hotel room (double room) and split all costs equally, the cost per person is in the range £ 350 to £ 400.

Using the above indicative figures, if 1 member travels alone in a car, does not share one hotel room and cannot split all costs , the cost per person is in the region of £ 500.

Using the above indicative figures, if 1 member travels alone in a car, and camps, the cost per person is in the range £ 350 to £ 400.

The above is intended to be a catalyst for further discussion.

Any comments?

Cheers

Hi Sean,

I'm booked up that weekend.

Anybody fancy going next year on the bike?

I think there is a train to Alessandria from NL and then a nice 3 day ride home?

The train station is not far from the venue, I believe.

Hi Mike,

Definitely a consideration for next year.
Like the idea of using the train.
Makes a short break possible.

We'd all better start saving now then - we'll make it the 2014 Boarder Raid... 8)

Discuss details when we next meet - at the AGM or Track Day!

Good riding,
