Re: Rear Brake Shoes
I have been looking at new shoes same as op I am spooked by the stories of the linings coming off. EBC 921 seems to be the right one the website says it's for 1980 onwards.

Front disc replacement
My original front disc is worn with more ridges and grooves than an LP. I was googling in the vain hope of finding a reasonably priced replacement when I came across a rear disc for a Guzzi V7 right diameter 260mm right offset 25mm but don't know the thickness. https://www.gutsibits.co.uk/pr/TheShop...

Re: Stafford classic bike show
Sorry to hear you didn't enjoy the show. I and my friend Ian exhibited our silver 3 1/2 and red Camel bikes for the first time and we were both foot and throat sore by the end of a day that started at 4am. I personally spoke to dozens of people and sat down three times for coffee, soup and some bisc...

Re: Electric Starter parts needed
My starter clutch had been slipping for a while before I changed to the laminated clutch arms. The clutch drum had streaks of burnt on clutch friction material on it. I cleaned and polished the surface of the drum with fine wet and dry leaving an even matt surface. Might be an idea to check yours be...

Re: What size die/tap for crank thread 350 sport?
I don't know what size the thread is but I would beware using a thread cutting die to try and repair the threads. The die will cut metal away however careful you are if you remove too much you won't be able to tighten the nut. To repair a damaged thread it's best to use a thread chaser this doesn't ...
