Update on radiator guard. No joy at the engineering works. However i have found a promising contact who will be having a look and giving a quote in 2 weeks time,after his daughter's wedding.
Will update you all when I get further info.

Now that is a very good idea corsaro Chris. I'll have a chat with my mate in shanick engineering in bognor .He's done a few items for me on my rolling resto ( '94 speed triple). Also NLM have had an oil cooler guard made ,as I have one, perhaps that same company could be contacted..... worth a thoug...

Hello backfat, I got an oil cooler guard from NLM,for 39 nicker !! It's in stainless and looks great.I got one for my mate Nicko while I was at it.
It's the main radiator I want a guard for. But I don't know which other bike manufacturer uses that same rad.

Have you thought about going to a reputable engineering firm and having your own fabricated ? Take your bent one as a template (if you get my drift), and see how you go, as most will have tubing of some sort.

Agree with Micky moto,but after you run it for a while, check the level, but make sure it's on the minimum NOT the maximum. .

Personally I'd play it safe and contact north Leicester motorcycle's ,and maybe order a few other consumables to make it worth the cost of postage.
Also check the morini website as there may be some official dealer's \ workshops in the states. Enjoy Superbowl !!
