Re: Spares needed: clutch plates, cam belt
If in UK you can get clutch plates and cambelts from MdinaItalia, (if they have any clutch plates in stock). However I get my belts from RS on line- these are not graded by cam pulley size of course. What pulley have you got, A,B or C? Contitech 124 L075. RS stock number is 474-9793. The C type can ...

Re: Instrument bezels and glass
What’s all this “ banned from the garage” business?
Have you not learned to march into the house with muddy boots , switch the heating on because you are cold, change the radio to one you prefer, rip through the fridge leaving a mess in your wake and at a pinch pee on the toilet seat.
Works for me.

Re: Fuel tap overhaul
And that is exactly the system on Airhead BMW and it works perfectly well. On my Morinis one has the electro tap and the other has a vacuum tap. Both run the risk of either leaking fuel into the cylinder/ oil or packing up. How many times have I forgotten to disconnect the wiring prior to removing t...

Re: Cylinder Torque values.
I have not deviated from the instruction in the Blue Book on the three occasions where I have had the barrels off since 2007. This on my K1.
Others may have a different opinion.
I reused my head gaskets last time around though.

Re: Clutch refit issues
When I got one Morini the clutch lacked much feel. I have only been used to friction plates being of a dark colour but these had bright alloy plates with the friction material not looking too worn out. Putting an old rather worn set in from some I had previously removed from another Morini improved ...

Re: Clutch refit issues
Any progress adjusting the clutch actuating arm at the engine? I had to shorten an inner once following a new clutch pack installation.

Re: Starter motor clutch shoes
Mine really improved with a decent AGM battery, a rebuild and new style clutch shoes. Mind you if I remove and then replace the cover it becomes recalcitrant until I have run the bike for a few miles. Must be a slight alignment issue I suppose.

New tap is a good option. Maybe try Mdinaitalia or Guzzibits?

Re: What`s your other bike ?
Yes. 44 Watermoor Road 95 2467. That was the number in 1975. Bike was a 1966 C15 I got from Norridge Motorcycles in Minster Lovell. When I think of what a rusty wreck it was and only 9 years old it makes me marvel at the condition of my current old crates. I used to go upstairs for kickstart return ...

Re: What`s your other bike ?
I used to have a C15 back in 1975. You could bowl along the backroad via Ashton Keynes and Siddington to Peter Hammonds and get a kickstart return spring. Then stop in a pub for a pint and a pork pie.
