Instrument bezels and glass
I was corresponding with 'Tom' on the forum and asked if he had any bezels for the earlier Vagueliar instruments. He gave me the name of a company he had used that led me to BGBM Ltd. Re: What`s your other bike ?
The 250RS was, and probably still is, a great bike. It is, just need to sort the starter motor on one of them, needs a rebuild I think and I'm not capable! :( Does it spin the engine, or does it not turn at all? Re: What`s your other bike ?
The airhead still cuts it in modern traffic and has a range of 250 miles and is all day comfortable. The 1200R has been a revelation. Handling is very good and it has the same range on a tank that is 6 litres smaller. I have averaged over 60 mpg since I got it in May. The seat is like an armchair. W...

Hello Ming,
Sorry to see you go. Enjoy your retirement.
As Mr 72 says, you experience would prove useful here.
Mike.

Re: Refurbishing carbs, what parts wear
The worn parts have done many miles, more than anybody will put on the old clunkers between now and being banned, so 'stocking up' means fewer for others to obtain with a consequent price rise. Did you horde toilet rolls in 2020?

As the discs are floating did you replace the centres as well as the outer disc? The bobbins may be worn?
