Re: End of an Era

I phoned today to order some bits n bobs: Rob was too busy on the phone to take any calls, so I spoke to Chris, who told me it's like permanent Black Friday at the moment; he can't remember when they were last so busy!

Re: Returning member after 20 years, saying hello. 500 sport

Welcome back Graham. And don't leave it too long before calling NLM! Stuart is finally retiring and the business is moving to new hands.

Re: End of an Era

Pete, thanks for raising this. The club are planning to do something 'official' for Rob and NLM, without whom we'd all be stuck in our garages. There are many people who aren't club members (but are just as welcome) who use this forum and have benefited from NLM, so if someone were to start a Justgi...

Re: raised clipons

I've used the Tarozzi ones: very adjustable for height and angle. A good half-way house.

Re: Gold cast wheels

EV Guru's post above wasn't meant to be unhelpful. Morini used a number of different paints and suppliers depending on who they had credit with, what day of the week it was, which factories were closed for holidays etc. As 72degrees said, just get the closest match to what's already on the wheels, o...

Re: Who's owned my bike?

An important part of that Morini's history is that it was the first 500 I rode, when it was in Paul's ownership. :D

Re: Newbie Camel owner saying hi!

I had my Strada rewired by Rupert Paul. He did an excellent job of reducing the original multi-coloured spaghetti Bolognese to a simple and effective system. He kept the original fuse box etc, so that if anyone wants to return the bike to factory spec in the future (but why?) it could be done.

Re: downpipes and seat

I bought some chrome downpipes and seamed silencers from motostoriche italiane. Excellent quality and good value. I've also bought a new Sport seat from Nisa, who made them originally, via Wolfgang Tritsch.

Hi John, Butchamphib is organising Stafford: send him a PM and I'm sure he'll be in touch. It's always good to see different bikes on the stand. Cheers, Mark.
