To all those that missed the day; THe Bristol Auto Day was great - I was late and so missed some of the other riders, but the weather and ride down were both fantastic :!: At least my boy got the Corsaro down, so I was there in spirit at least . Some of the cars - Lancia, Fiat and Alfas - were...

Stephen; Next local MRC meet is 3rd Wednesday at the Bell, or possibly meet sooner at 3X - I would like to try out the Avio myself.. Alternatively there is always the Bristol meeting this Thursday, but that is a little more challenging, and the roads are not such fun :? So the forthcoming Saturday a...

"KD and others have just been on a Morini riding trip to Scotland -Will be interested to hear how they got on. " (Qoute from Steven in 9 1/2 and Sport thread..) I understand that Keith from 3X rode the new Avio up to Scotland once it had been tested by a freelance for MCN and MCS&L. He...

Steve; Interesting news about the Sport colour options - now a red with black side flashes would go down with a certain traditionalist section of the MRC! Was down at 3X recently and had a good chat with KD, the MD. An interview will appear in the club may ATG in due course :) Hope that the Corsaro ...

Curtis;

As I live east of Bristol and will be arriving late (Its a family habit...) I'll just come straight in down the M32...

Hopefully some of the locals will do the ride in - it should be fun :)

Event is this coming Saturday - anyone else from the MRC going?

At least one Corsaro and a Dart - can we get more that three Corsaros - the record number seen in one place away from a dealer or track day...

Come on - lets USE these things

Morini T shirts

If you're interested - We're hoping to get some Factory T shirts shortly - prices and availability will be announced via these pages and the club magazine - ATG. 8) As this is an unknown for us, we will have a limited selection to judge demand initially. We'll have a few of the "engine" lo...

More data on this topic; Used the Corsaro last w/e and put 11.5 litres in after 97 miles; that's a miserly (for the big beast) 8.5 miles/litre or 38 mpg. This is streets better than before, and was achieved using the gears and keeping, in the main, between 5-7k rpm except in town, where I used secon...

Yes - I had this after the last service - the indicator recording 200 max - it'd be a bit embarrassing if you were ever stopped by the Police (did it on the Island, officer, honest... ) Also - watch out for the main beam coming on unannounced if you ride in heavy rain - a tad frustrating :oop...

If it starts OK and then goes on to one cylinder after a short while (once the engine is hot?) then the pick up is a possible cause. As Tom describes, a crack in the resin is a good indicator - bit it might not be visible, as I had this problem and we had to remove the pick-up to find it. However, t...

Sander; That's the one! Your bike is the one with the rack, mine is the black Coraso, and the other (with the tank bag) is the other Netherlands rider (Peter?). Happy days! As a side issue - the Avio is now in the UK, and MCN are down to ride the importers demonstrator - what is the view of the bike...

Sander - you are so right - I had better correct that to "2 modern British registered Corsaros..."

Spare my blushes. If I could work out how too, I'd paste a photo of 3 new and one old Corsaro at Cadwell!

Hope that you and your red beast are keeping well,

New small engine likely to be out for 2010 model year if we believe the hints we heard at the factory... It might be a V or a fast single... We're (the MRC) aiming for a factory visit in September 09 so we'll see then, possibly. If you can, get to the MRC meet in April (gosh - next Wednesday)...

Stephen; It might be nice to ride (I'll have to get myself down to 3X to have a go) but I bet it won't be as nice as a full-blooded Corsaro  Saw the new 695 (?) Monster at the Alton Ducati shop last w/e, the matt black on that one also looked a bit cheap and tacky - whereas the gloss red one (t...
