Re: Morini bits and pieces update
Hi,
I use Irfanview (free download/free to use) on my laptop for resizing. Works well for me.
Probably an android app too but don't use my phone for photo editing so have never looked.

In the announcements section
Hi Webmaster, Fixed/pinned at the top bit of the 'Announcements' section, it has the article about Morini going into administration. I know it is very much 'old news' but anyone who hasn't been keeping up with events and is considering buying a new one might get put off quite quickly seeing this. Ce...

Re: 350 Sport
Good looking, and you have the best Sport seat of all too (but I'm probably a bit biased with that...)
Be careful not to snap the rear brake lever off with the kickstart - incredibly easy to do without a kickstart spacer.
Enjoy it!

Re: 350 Kick Starts - last one sold at Mdina Italia
Additional bikes with left foot starting,: The Spanish Bultaco and Ossa (pre 1980 ish.) Both designed/made most of their bikes with left hand kickstarts. Ossa's were also bottom hinged with a similar style of kickstart pivot as a Kanguru. The sad thing about all of these bikes (apart from the fart b...

Re: 350 Kick Starts - last one sold at Mdina Italia
Ok.. The fold out bit is relatively simple to make/ do, but the knuckle is a different matter. So what other bikes had a left hand side, clockwise rotation, kickstart? As said above, 1960's Yamaha 250/350s, Suzuki 200/250/500 twins prior to 1978 MZ's (well, almost all DKW copies) CZ's (but that was ...

Re: Top end cutting out
I had a similar sounding issue with my sport a few years ago. Turned out to be a lack of ignition advance on the rear cylinder. Certainly worth painting/scribing/sticking a mark for 'ANT2' on the flywheel so that you can check the advance on both cylinders if only to rule it out as a possible cause.

These results can also depend on how it Is described on the V5.
With my two I have a MOTOMORINI and MOTO MORINI, while a former colleague has simply MORINI on his.

Re: 1977 Magazine-Motorcycle Illustrated
"I'll have a look next time I'm up in the loft" Hi Steve, No joyy in the loft I'm afraid. Did have a sole copy of MCI up there but it was an earlier one (1973!) that I've kept for reasons not remembered. I did do a big purge of old bike mags a couple of years back when I reboarded the loft...

Re: Rear Cylinder Clearance
Hi Simon, Can't remember exactly on my 78 model - I have done it, but it was many, many years ago. It is possible I undid the studs or at least some of them as you suggested. Maybe the ignition switch was removed as well? Maybe it was 'rolling' the cylinder over the studs. Definately didn't remove t...

Re: Oil filter conundrum !
Maybe the 500 is more loaded, but there are enough 350's with 100,000 miles on them to suggest that the external filter 'fix' is completely unnecessary. As has been said, regular oil changes saves ruining both the engine AND saves the beautifil looking engine looking like it has been savaged. If it ...

I suspect that the 'garage gremlins' (you know, the little critters that hide the screw you just put down so you lose an hour or so looking for it) have got too cold or bored in the shed and have sneaked indoors!

Re: Bottom yoke holes thread size.
My guess is legal - need for a front brake light after (1982)? - there was a single brake line 'splitter' also available at one time. Or simply packaging. I must say that on my Sport the bar/lever position for best comfort for me is with the banjo bolt from the master cylinder almost touching the sp...
