Re: Morini 250 2C tank FREE
It's one we have in the records, new member from November 1982. UK bike. Later models, with the new styling, had polished rocker boxes from the factory but the paint was so thin on earlier ones it had probably fallen off and been polished What ever happened to the rear exhaust port? Silencers not M...

Re: Morini 250 2C tank FREE
The seller had also listed a 350 moto morini that had wire wheels and probably was from 1977. My guess is they copy+pasted the title of the item and then didn't revise the date in the title. For those who aren't already aware, here's the bike I mentioned in my PM https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/134020694...

Re: Who would like a set of Kanguro X/X1 stickers making?
John, I do vaguely recall that sticker, or at least one like it. If you can upload or send me a photo of it with dimensions I might be able to get some made for beer money per sticker. I can test the heat stickability on my Morinis. Of course, my Kanguro X might not have the high performance of an X...

Moto Morini stickers online in the UK
I've found a company who list various Moto Morini reproduction stickers in the UK https://classictransfers.co.uk/product-category/international/i-m-international/moto-morini/ They might be useful to some of us now or in future. Meanwhile I've recently received a set of Kanguro X/X1 reproduction stic...

Who would like a set of Kanguro X/X1 stickers making?
I've bought a set of stickers in white for my Kanguro X. They should also suit an X1. I know of at least one Kanguro owner in England who'd like a set making. We're looking into getting them done and I wondered if anyone else here would be interested in a set (they're not available for sale at mdina...

Re: 501XE Camel Brake Calipers and Master Cylinders
I'm aware of a 501 Coguaro rolling chassis in England that's incomplete. I believe someone's already interested in it so the front caliper and master cylinder might already be spoken for. I have the rear system (and the rear caliper, a Brembo, has 95mm spacing between the mounting holes and fits my ...

Re: Nuts!!
I have both a tap and a die and use them as and when I've scruffy exhaust nuts or exhaust ports. I've several 350 bikes and several 501 bikes (which use a larger thread). I believe using the tap/die does help improve the ease of the nut fitting into the head. I bought the tap and die on eBay, there ...

Re: Kingdom of Yorkshire meet up
Cumbria is on the flight path to the West Coast USA from Heathrow so perhaps it's a hint to bring a New York so I can show willing. More seriously, Cumbria should be fine as a venue, I last rode a motorbike there around 1986 when I used to commute from North Scotland to West Yorkshire. Otherwise I c...

Re: Kingdom of Yorkshire meet up
Mike, as I was born and a sprog in West Yorkshire with regular trips to Whitby it would be a joy to visit you and the merry band of folk who'll assemble before the Workers take their rest next Spring. I'd be up for making a weekend of the trip. Would you recommend a Kanguro to cope with the likely w...

Re: Kanguro 350 for sale
Meanwhile there's another Kanguro bike for sale https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/115129609810 for the 4 or 5 days. Sounds like it needs some work to fix damaged parts, otherwise it looks like a good project that should be fairly easy to make roadworthy in the UK.

Re: 3 1/2 strada
This one? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165173428165 If so it looks pretty, and I do like the wire wheel single front disk models very much. However I already have 4+ complete moto morinis and a couple of incomplete spares so I'm not in a position to buy it :( All the best finding a new owner who's wil...

Re: Winter 2018Rebuild
Mike, congratulations on resurrecting this bike, and thank you RedVee for freeing up various project bikes. My Kanguro X is similarly doing well with over 1400km since I resurrected it (mine is nowhere near restored, more of a fun bike to ride).

Congratulations on your new project, as others have indicated it looks like it'll be a beautiful bike when you've got it rebuilt.

I love the creative and practical approach of using a used car tyre especially for transporting the engines. Thank you
