My Strada faltering and power dying away when ridden hard, esp going up hills. Ok if back off and then give it another go but then same thing happens. Thought it may be fuel supply as there was a bit of crud in the float chambers so cleaned tank and fitted new taps. Carbs balanced and new gasket kit...

I am looking for a new crash helmet but one with the right look for a 70s Strada. Probably full face really. All the ones I have tried seem a bit predator style, or a bit fat bob Harley, or just huge. Don’t think I have a big head but the shells seem massive. Any thoughts?

Chased it down to a dodgy connection between battery and earth point on the frame. Once sorted all better. Although I notice a very slight (really slight) dimming of the headlight bulb when flashers working. Thanks for the comments though.

Thanks for replies. Will give the disconnections a try. Interestingly flashes faster and dims all the lights faster when headlamp is on as opposed to just sidelight. So possibly the switch. Anyway, here we go.....

When indicators on they have started flashing fast and when the lights are on head and tail lamp dim in time with flashers. Seem to have short somewhere but can’t find where. Any pearls of wisdom?

Does anyone have a spare cable guide for a Strada 3 1/2, the type that bolts on under the bottom fork yoke rather than the clip round the fork dust cover? Thanks
