Re: increased RPM

If this is the cause of your issue then yes. I use JPdiag and after some initial fiddling about it works well.

Re: increased RPM

Had the same issue and re-setting the TPS fixed it.

Corsaro Throttle Cable

Hi all,

Does anyone know if the throttle cable for a 2008 Corsaro Veloce is common with any other brands? I need a replacement and whilst I can get Ducati and KTM parts etc., getting bits for the MM in Australia is a pain. :(

Re: Oil and filters

I have just switched from Motul to Maxima Extra 4 SAE10W 60. This is an US oil that is listed as 100% synthetic, motorcycle specific and at A$90 for 4 liters is cheaper than the Motul (A$120). The owner of the bike shop told me that he now runs Extra 4 exclusively in his race bikes. After changing o...

Re: SYNCHR throttle bodies Procedure // LAMBDA sensor

Fully agree re riding NZ. Did 3000k on the South Island in Feb this year and it was fantastic. Hired bikes in CC and enjoyed ourselves that much that we are planning to return in 2013. :D

Re: Brake Pads

I have been running with Muchelin Power Pures fornt and back for the past 2 years and can't fault them for grip or wear. Previously I had been using Pirelli Corsa 3s but they took a while to heat up and didn't last as long as the Pures.

Re: Luggage

Hi,

Last year I used a Ventura rack and bag on a 5000km road trip and found it fantastic.

Fuel pump

Hi all, Whilst changing the fuel filter I have inadvertently broken the plastic feed line off the current unit and I figure it will be pointless to try and repair it. I have emailed 3X and another shop in NZ who have been able to help out in the past but any other ideas on where I could source anoth...

Damaged Sprocket Cover

Whilst washing my bike today I noticed the front sprocket cover was damaged. Closer inspection showed that the retaining nut on the front sprocket had worked its way loose and was rubbing against the cover. http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/6927/damagedsprocketcover1.th.jpg Anyone got any ideas as ...

Re: Oil leak

Apologies for not responding earlier. You can access the plug via the airbox without too much drama. The plug is located at the bottom of the rear brake side of the air box. Lift the tank, remove the airbox top, gently pull the plug clear of the airbox. If the plug is the problem it will be damaged....
