Re: Oil Consumption

In 7000 miles on my corsaro I've never had to add any oil between normal services. It has started to breathe heavily on long high speed trips and the left engine case gets a fine misting but it's not used a noticeable amount of oil yet. Stupid question but you have checked the oil as per the service...

Re: Luggage

Hi Nick, When I went to the factory in 2009, I found that all mine and my wife's luggage needs were satisfied with some cheap Oxford throwovers, a kriega us20 tankbag an a pair of gel seats. I made some carbon fibre plates which I bolted to the silencer heatshield with about a 10mm spacer. These kep...

Re: tank decals

Can't help with the decals I'm afraid but you could try classic transfers. They have a large library of Morini decals. I suspect they won't have decals for the water-cooled bikes but you could always use the classic MM Eagle (or the original corsaro pirate??) logos... http://www.classictransfers.co....

Re: tacho stopped working

The usual suspect is the 90 degree drive on the camshaft cover. The square edges on the drive peg which goes into the camshaft end round off. If you unscrew the cover (2 Phillips screws) and unscrew the tacho cable from the 90 degree drive you can check the operation of the 90 degree drive by rotati...

Re: Need help setting idle.

I always find the guide on this very site a helpful reference:

These kind of technical nuggets and more always available to club members :)

Re: Stupid Button

Erol- Sounds like the wheel speed sensor not the dash. I've had this happen a couple of times, and new sensors under warranty cured the problem. Before you search out new parts try the following; Carefully clean the wheel speed sensor and the disc bolts. Clean the sensor connector (you can trace it ...

I don't but I know a man who might. He probably doesn't want his details posting on the net so I'll send you a pm.

Failing him then EV guru may have one squirrelled away

Re: custom made re-useable oil filter now available $85

Actually I disagree. Yes the filters are expensive (perhaps unfairly so) BUT it is now, more than ever that we should be supporting the dealers and importer. If the factory is ever to make a comeback then it will need the support of the current dealers. If those dealers lose interest because existin...

Re: Chain and sprockets

Hi Christine, I Should have a spare reasonable speedo drive which I'll dig out for you. It's been a while since I ran a 16" front wheel and I suspect I'll have no use for it in the future. I'm only across in Northampton so give me a shout if you'd like it. I've always run 39 sprockets on my dar...
