I thought the difference was the input shaft on the 500 is beefier and the sleeve is different, but the hub is the same.
Referee!
How would the plates be the same if the centre hubs were different?

Clutch centre difference
Please see my reply on the seized nuts post in the 350 forum. I am guilty of spreading the rumour that the clutch centre hub is the same on both.
Well it isn't. You probably know already, sorry if I have mislead anyone.

Re: clutch spring nuts seized
I have also been guilty of telling everybody that the clutch centre is the same part on 350 and 500. Well, I owe you all an apology-I am 100% wrong!
The difference is the splined centre-it's larger diameter for the 500. I had thought the difference was just the steel bush and the bearings. Hey ho.

We communicate mainly via the whatsapp group and there is an email address for us in the contacts section of ATG. We organise group rides whenever we can, we promote legal and responsible green lane use-in...

Re: clutch spring nuts seized
The clutch assembly is the same on all the air cooled V twins. So if listed for a Kanguro then fine. It's probably because the Kanguro was a big seller in many countries so the most common model.

350/500 are all the same and if no stock at Mdina then try Stein Dinse in Germany. Failing that I have plenty of used but usable plates. Only the dished type I'm short of. I think I saw Mdina had those in stock when I last checked.
If you want some used stuff I'm in South Leicestershire UK.

Re: Kanguro X1 owners
Looks a good starting point for a Kanguro! I haven't got the pics you want but I'd guess the second reg/rec is fed by the grey wire from the flywheel? This is what usually sends the 12v AC to the headlamp via the L/H switch cluster. Does that help? Are you a member of the MRC? If so you can join the...

They are a floating bush. Ok, some are splined to the shaft but should be an easy oiled fit with no binding. If you want to compare I have as said a couple of clusters to look at.

Re: 250 2C - various questions from new owner
Hi Richard, and welcome to the fold. I'm not aware of any washer or O ring where you describe. Are they removable for inspection? I'm sure if there had been anything other than the carb body the Dellorto manual would list them. On all the Dellorto carbs fitted to the air cooled V twins that I've see...
