Re: Mirrors and seats

Nick, Seems that you have found what sadly many darts suffer- beauty is only skin deep! Be warned- my quest to tidy up the 'out of sight' bits led me on a 5 year journey of repainting, replacing and modifying! But if your bodywork is in good condition then that's the hard bit taken care of already! ...

Re: New Cosaro1200 rider in Cumbria

Hi George, It will be the wheel speed sensor I expect. There are a few posts about it on the forum but to summarise: I've had this happen a couple of times, and new sensors under warranty cured the problem. Before you search out new parts try the following; Carefully clean the wheel speed sensor and...

Re: 1980's Morini dealers in Glasgow area..?

Alone?? We are a reclusive bunch but you don't have to go far in the UK to stumble across Morini owners (I just wish we were all Riders a bit more often! You may be interested to see the MRC member map on the website. It shows the approximate location of all our current paid up members (UK only curr...

Re: to buy or not to buy?

I'm on my second Corsaro, having bought an ex-demo '06 bike and then traded it in in '08 for a new one. If I'm honest, the trade in of the '06 bike was because of a string of niggles (none of which left me stranded but were annoying). Before I took delivery of the new bike it had 30-something hours ...

Re: Members area,can't log in!

Hi Dave, You should have received ATG 314 a few weeks back now, and the login details were in that. I'm very sorry that it has gone astray. Re: 501 piston to bore clearance.

Hi Dean, You may find the following information useful (this is from the 'red book' -The Cagiva published workshop manual) and applies to nikasil linered 350 and 501 engines... Cylinder: Check that the walls are perfectly smooth and without any signs of localized wear. Measure the cylinder diamtere ...

Re: Frame Sliders - Scrambler

Have a look on the corsaro pages of the forum- there was talk a couple of years ago about sliders and I think the solution was to modify some pre existing ones to fit the morini- MV agusta ones I think. Since all the water cooled morinis have the same engine and more or less the same frame and forks...

Re: Scrambler - Clutch Master Cylinder Leak

It's possible that it's been overfilled and the level is just settling. I would remove a small amount of fluid and keep an eye that the level does not go too low or that it does not continue to weep. Once you're done and it's all back together, don't forget to pour a kettle of boiling water over the...

Re: Members area,can't log in!

Thanks for the interest in the members only area. It's not quite 'open for business' yet but we are working on the content and hope to get it open soon. Login details are different to the forum logins and will go out with the next ATG, which should be at the printers soon. As always with the website...

Morini Riders Club website

The morini riders club website, which hosts this forum http://www.morini-riders-club.com has had a refresh. You may find some old links no longer work. At the moment the site is the 'bare bones' but we are working hard to build up the content to represent at least a small portion of the wealth of va...
