Re: 2006 running lumpy below 2k

o I need the ducati diag to access the bikes ecu to re set the tps? Yes, you will need it. There has been a lot of discussion about this, have you seen The Ducati Diag Thread? So I had the setup you have and have since gone from this to the EBi's map. My reasons were that it's too uncomfortable to ...

Re: Electric Start 501 cable routing.

See that notch at the back of the casing, more or less inline with the terminal? Got it!

Thanks Paul. The cable was just placed there to get a view of it.

I used your video to sort the gearbox. Most useful.

Re: Round Britain Rally 2015

That's me in as well Ralph. Looking forward to it. To be fair though, I am more interested in the North and Scotland. When I get back from Europe, wether on the bike or car, the initial travelling in southern England is horrendous. I notice some entrants use a trailer to get the bike close to the in...

Re: Electric Start 501 cable routing.

Nothing that is definite Steve, thanks trying. I will persevere and find a solution. I have to mod both the brake lever and the master cylinder position so 'nay bother' as they say up here.
Thanks for your time Steve. I will be updating the project as I go along. One day she will be finished.

Electric Start 501 cable routing.

I am fitting my starter case now to the Camel 501 and as I don't have a Strada, or a bike of that ilk to look at I was wondering if anybody could tell me: On a Morini fitted 501 motor, how does the starter cable run out of the casing? Does it go out of the rear above or below the drive sprocket? Tha...

Well done Tricky. Keep up the good work. I myself am off the alcohol and down the gym 3 times a week.
At least I don't think? I'm boring now.

Hi Tricky

Did you get another bike to use instead of the Corsaro?

I was wondering how it was going as we hadn't from you for a while.

Cheers

Re: Round Britain Rally 2015

That's interesting. I know the carbs have been changed before I got it. I will look at it, but only when I've got the starter motor side done completely. It does give me some thing to check with out doing a big job. Having said that I want to go inside the motor as it leaks oil and air from the the ...

Re: Camel 501

So the next step has been achieved. I stripped, fitted new bearings and brass gear into the starter motor. No oil was present in the gearbox when I stripped it,just a goo of brass and dirt. It took some cleaning out even after I had taken the bearings out. I got the bearings and oil seals from Simpl...

Re: Round Britain Rally 2015

Hi Ralph
I am going to do the Rally again this year. It is an education about the heritage of the UK.
Interestingly the forum seems to have disappeared from the Website.
Does this happen every year?

Re: New spanish owner

Hi from Spain. First, sorry for my poor english. I will try to write, but better if I only read the posts.. I bought a 2006 Corsaro few days ago, with 8000 km at gauge... :? (certainly I´m not sure if it´s true... ) Well. The look of my MM is not the best... So, I have given the bike ...

Re: Mikuni VM28's on a 1976 3 1/2 Sport

This is of interest to me. My Camel has asked for a breath of fresh air so I was wondering how you came to choose the settings for the Mikuni carbs. Jet size and needle position if any. etc. I believe my Camel initially with "pump" carbs. Trying to make the old girl easier to start with an...
