Re: Spanish import 3 1/2 project.
The swing arm was loose on the bushes and the bushes were steel. The originals are cast Iron, a compatible bearing material with the hardened pin if regularly lubricated. I use PTFE these days with a Stainless pin. Maintenance free setup. I noticed that from a previous post of yours, but it seems N...

Re: Spanish import 3 1/2 project.
To me the seat/tail belongs to a K1, the front mudgard looks like a K. One pint on a 1982 K Touring! They had the frames black. I´ve got a black and white foto (page 101 in the fantastic book from Fabio Ferrario) and there is this tail, one disc, drumbrake in the back and the mudgard of a K. I thin...

Re: Spanish import 3 1/2 project.
Who knows? The K1 had discs all round, maybe.... the drum would be an earlier K, maybe, the swinging arm would have been different. No knowing if the rear was standard, but bodywork looks later.... just love the 'not knowing'........ Does it have twin discs on the front? Could be a clue if single d...

Re: Spanish import 3 1/2 project.
I should point out that a rear drum brake is not original spec for an '83 bike but that seat unit/tank and sidepanel is correct. No major deal, anyway. I have what is likely an '82 but registered in '83, what's your frame number? Cheers, DD OK, that's of interest to me. The Spanish "title"...

Re: Spanish import 3 1/2 project.
I am well on the way with the project but have a few questions if anybody out there in the forum can help. I have had the cover off the motor and find that there is significant play on the lower pulley of the cam belt from the the crank. It looks like at some time there has been a serious problem be...

Spanish import 3 1/2 project.
This is my 3rd project of a Morini and I must say I'm looking forward to it. It's a 1983 3 1/2 which seems to be all there, I've had some advice from members to say it's not too bad. Electric start, which did work when I picked it up but now drags. The main reason for getting it is to take it to the...

Re: Disasembly of Cylinder-head & replacing Valves and guide
Hi Gunni Well you are always on top of the situation. I will wait until the winter to investigate as I have just purchased a 3 1/2 Strada from Spain. I have decided to keep the Corsaro as it's such a different bike. Keep up the good work! Tchus George. I have noted your suggestion and will not use t...

Re: Disasembly of Cylinder-head & replacing Valves and guide
Hi Tamas. I have had the tank off, air box out, throttle bodies away, injectors out and the water pump out. No problems. There is quite a lot of info about others have done on the Forum, Valves being dropped and shim information. There is a problem about oil leaks if you are not careful when you ref...

Well, you have spent sometime on this bike. Great effort, like it. You've made it your own.

Scottish MCN Show this weekend.
Anyone going? I am going and hope to see the Scots contingent. Only room this year for my CBX. It's an intimate little show on the cool side. Ask Mike.
Cheers.
Cheers.

You bet Mike. Good idea.ps trying to organise a ride out in the wet west either July or August if interested?
I did look at the 11 1/2 on the MM site. Nice and Basic, I thought.
I went to see the Quack about my aches and pains, answer, Go to the Gym.
So I did.

Re: Corsaro - Gran Passo - Scrambler - Sport
Hi Mike. I didn't use my Corsaro much last year as I collecting to get the money to repair it, which was actually cheaper than expected and the bits were available. But it's different his year. I used her to go down to see my Grandkids in Northampton and took my usual route down the A6 most of the w...
