Re: Fuel tap overhaul
The club is (at quite some expense) in the process of having new diaphragms for the electric fuel taps remanufactured. These will be made in Viton so resistant to modern fuel compositions and definitely more supple then the 40-50 year old originals… They will be available to purchase in the spring. ...

Re: Various Morini parts available
I’m currently putting together a sectioned engine for the club so am on the lookout for certain parts, and damaged ones are ideal as it saves using bits which would otherwise keep a Morini mobile. To this end the pickup and stator plate would be perfect please. The pushrods and gear selector joint w...

Re: Moto Morini Club Netherlands
Just to follow up on this, we have more or less now completed the migration of the Dutch club website and forum to the the morini-riders-club.com domain. The Dutch website and forum will now continue to exist for the benefit of Morini enthusiasts as a locked archive in it's current form but at a new...

Club Strada in December Classic Bike
Nice little review of the Morini Riders Club’s strada in the current (December issue) Classic Bike. It’s always satisfying when someone new to Morini rides one and ‘gets it’, and by the sounds of it the Author was quite taken with our little wee vee. The bike is taking a winter hibernation now, but ...

Try Mauro Gini. His rearsets look nice. Not seen them in the flesh although I have bought other parts from him in the past

Re: Rear suspension
There was a technical bulletin on very early bikes up to frame number 3400 to replace the spacer bushes on the shock pivot. The bulletin can be seen in the members area at the below link. Not sure if that’s related to your problem but worth a look if yours is an early bike https://www.morini-riders-...

Re: another new Sport owner 76 or 77?
Mine has 35mm marzocchis. If you can’t find a strada top yoke (or to keep that sport character a little) consider the tarozzi clip on bar risers, like the ones below: https://www.discovolantemoto.co.uk/Tarozzi-adjustable-clipons-high Also keep in mind the bars are 22mm- wouldn’t want to change your ...

Re: Spanner for metal intake manifolds
Yes, will do. I have both the holder George made and the c spanner for tightening the castellated nut. I bought the below c spanner set too, the larger one is no use on a Morini but the smaller one does the exhaust nut on one end and the intake nut on the other so it’s very useful. https://www.ebay....

Re: Chain slider
This is a great initiative and definitely something we should be doing to keep morinis on the road. We have a committee meeting next week so I will raise it. 200 sliders may take a while to sell, but there is a shortage of dart sliders so if we could make some of those too that might make it an even...

Re: I need your help
Sadly local decent automotive factors are becoming a thing of the past. Nowhere near me so I bought my last lot of fuses from EBay. If you search for ‘automotive bullet fuse’ you’ll find what you need. The fuses in the fuse holder should be tight. Often these go sloppy over time which doesn’t help w...
