I've got a 1982 K1 which I have always felt uncomfortable cornering - sort of falling into them (I think it would be called oversteer on a car). I have checked the obvious things several times but the feeling persists. Very frustrating when most people are raving about the handling.

The plastic front mudguard fitted to the 'K' series could be described as shorter and more sporty. So short in fact that the front of the engine gets no protection at all; I ended up fitting a (home made) mudflap to mine.

As you say, always good to have a spare pick-up. How much are you asking for it, are you prepared to post it, and how do I pay for it (I've never bought/sold anything through the forum)? Thanks.

I realise this post is ancient but do you by any chance still have a carrier/rack for sale? If so, could you post a picture (or send me a PM including it)? I'm particularly interested in one that fits with a 'K' seat and sidepanels (where the top shock absorber bolt is covered up).
