I enquired and the distances (centre to centre) are 115mm and 75mm.

Re: Replacement rectifier / regulator
Steve. I don't think this is for 3-phase - just "bi-phase" or whatever the correct terminology is for the alternator setup on the Morini where the red wire is in the middle of the inner and outer coils. The NLM instructions state to use the third terminal if the stator has a red wire or ju...

Re: Replacement rectifier / regulator
Ming. The new regulators are not marked with colour codes. There are 7 terminals in all and 3 are marked with a '~' symbol for alternating voltage, so it is not clear cut which are for the yellows and which for the red. Dave.

Re: Replacement rectifier / regulator
Richard. Connectors finally arrived this morning. I fitted with the red from the alternator on the larger spade terminal. I measured 14.3V across the battery at ~ 2000 rpm. I found the 2 larger spade terminals fouled the fuse box connectors and had to gently bend them to fit and so, with frequent sh...

Re: Clutch arm rubber cover/boot
NLM had 8 of them on their last price list M300127 (£12 + VAT) but I couldn't find them on Mdina so maybe sold out?

Re: Replacement rectifier / regulator
Richard - I bought the ex-NLM part from Mdina which arrived the next day but without the extra connecting leads for the bigger than normal spade terminals - they are going to make some up but have to order the necessary 'crimps' so it looks like being next week now. I found a diagram at http://www.s...

KJ 125 Kanguro Regulator - free to good home!
I bought a regulator by mistake (for a 350) which according to a SGR catalogue may be suitable for a Moto Morini KJ 125 Kanguro (part 460560). It is a Ducati Energia 343343 with 2 terminals marked G (for yellow wires) and a third marked for earth. The inscription is 12Vac 14Arms. However it is also ...

Re: Replacement rectifier / regulator
Richard - thanks for the copy of the fitting instructions - that helped a lot and I'm pretty sure it is the one Ralph refers to, except now it has the extra link wire he was missing. Did you 'play' with the position of the 2 yellows and the red from the alternator as he suggests to get a better volt...

Re: Replacement rectifier / regulator
Richard - thanks for the reply. The old NLM description "VCR 12V-7 & FIT" is not all that meaningful, but the slightly expanded Mdina description "Regulatot vcr 12v-7 & fitting instruction" does sound like it might be the 7-wire part described in Ralph's post http://www.m...

Replacement rectifier / regulator
Does anyone have the NLM part number for their replacement rectifier / regulator so that I can check the Mdina website, please? I have scanned all the old posts and found some references to it, but not the part number they used (the OEM part number obviously has none in stock). Alternatively does an...

Well the download on the NLM site is parts_file_01.03.2018.pdf so I assume that is the latest.

Re: raised clipons
The Tarozzi also come in low-rise (35mm) and high-rise (70mm). Not a recommendation - just for information.
Another option is stainless steel swan-neck clips-ons (Barleycorn Engineering have some examples).

I know the throttle cables are shorter on the Sport; not sure whether the other cables reach OK.

Re: Info on 125H please.
I don't have a 125H so opinions of those that do will be more useful to you. However I do have a 350 and a 250T (single cylinder). The worst thing I find about the single cylinder is the vibration and I would guess that it applies at least to some extent to the 125. Having said that, it is lighter a...
