The 250T (which is similar to the 500 front cylinder) has special parts to stop the nut coming loose, but they're not available. However it is relatively simple (must be because I've done it) to devise something similar.

This was my effort.

I should have mentioned that I had to remove the "lifting handle" but the rack itself is a decent substitute.

I looked for such a rack for ages without success (although I have pictures of ones fitted so they do exist). I ended up buying a Givi universal fitting kit (1000F) which I had to adapt a bit but does work OK. Best of luck in your search.
